Clean Up Time

Butte Environmental Council teams up with the City of Chico, Butte County, and the Great Sierra River Cleanup for the 31st Annual Bidwell Park and Chico Creek Clean Up. Each year volunteers remove TONS of trash and recyclables out of Chickory Creeks and the beloved park. Trash in our creeks pollutes the water and damages habitat. They need your help! While the registrations are over you can still volunteer by filling out the waiver the day of the clean up.

After The Clean Up

Head to Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. the Volunteer Appreciation BBQ catered by Madison Bear Garden!

Get together for food, music and games as a thank-you from the event coordinators.

Pack It In. Pack It Out!

Please remember the mantra. Pack your trash! It only takes a second to clean up after yourself or your group and by doing so you are helping everyone and everything around you. Let's keep our planet beautiful, the way we found it.
